This window is for use by customers who are set up to process their credit card transactions through CMS, using TransFirst ePay, Authorize .net, or MPS (Mercury Payment Systems). See Approval and capture options in CMS for more information.
The EDC window displays all credit card transactions that have been approved but not captured. It also displays any refunds that will be issued on a credit card. (These do not show up on Approval lists because approval of refunds is not required.)
The default date range is set to the past 30 days to catch any transactions that may have been missed.
1 On the Fulfillment menu, select Electronic Data Capture.

On the Fulfillment toolbar, click .
The Electronic Data Capture (EDC) window is displayed.
2 If desired, modify the date range of credit card transactions you want to capture.
3 If you change the date range, click Refresh.
4 If desired, select the Capture Only Shipped or Unapplied check box to filter the list and capture only those transactions.
Remember, there may be cases where you will need to manually mark invoices as Shipped. See Mark invoices as shipped for more information.
5 Click Begin EDC / Batch Close.
All displayed transactions are captured. Captured credit card payments will be marked as captured (the EDC check box on the Money screen will be selected).
