Setup for UPS Keyed Import

Keyed import is an alternative to UPS XML Auto Import and should be considered only if the XML solution is found to be undesirable.

Before beginning this procedure, you should already have created a DSN record called CMSPackages in the Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator. See Create new DSN (UPS & FedEx) for more information.

1 Copy these two files — CMSPackages and CMSPackagesExport — from the NewHaven Software folder to the UPS Shipment folder. Detailed instructions

· Using Windows Explorer, navigate to and open the NewHaven Software folder located on the CMS Server computer.

· Select and copy these two files: CMSPackages and CMSPackagesExport.

· In Windows Explorer, find and double-click the UPS folder, usually C:\UPS.

· In the UPS folder, double-click the WSTD folder, then the ImpExp folder, and finally the Shipment folder.

IMPORTANT! For UPS versions older than 9.0, the ImpExp and Shipment folders are located under the UOWS folder, not the WSTD folder.

· In the Shipment folder, right-click and select Paste.

The files CMSPackages and CMSPackagesExport should now appear in the file list for the Shipment folder.

a On the UPS OnLine Connect menu, point to Automatic Export During End-of-Day, and select Off.

b On the UPS OnLine Connect menu, point to Automatic Export After Processing Shipment, and select More.

c On the Select map from list for export box, select CMSPackagesExport, and then click Export.

· On the UPS OnLine Connect menu, point to Automatic Export After Processing Shipment, and select Off.

· On the UPS OnLine Connect menu, point to Automatic Export During End-of-Day, and select More.

· On the Select map from list for export box, select CMSPackagesExport, and then click Export.
