Both UPS Worldship "Keyed Import" and FedEx shipping software use an ODBC link to transmit shipping information between itself and the CMS database. These instructions assume no familiarity with creating an ODBC link. If you are familiar with the process you may prefer to view a brief summary of the required settings.
You do not need to complete these steps if you are using UPS Worldship XML Auto-Import.
Before you begin, ensure that the UPS Worldship and FedEx software applications are closed.
1 On the Windows toolbar, click (Start) > All Programs > NewHaven Software > Data Sources (ODBC).
The ODBC Data Source Administrator window is displayed. View example
2 Select the System DSN tab.
3 Click Add.
The Create New Data Source window is displayed. View example
4 Select SQL Anywhere 12.0.
5 Click Finish.
6 The ODBC Configuration for SQL Anywhere 12.0 window is displayed. Complete the following tabs:
· ODBC tab
7 Click OK again to close the ODBC Data Source Administrator window.
Next you will configure UPS Worldship or FedEx.
