The Payment History area (bottom right side of the Money screen) displays the current and any previous transactions.
1 You can edit the information here until the order is saved.
2 You can delete cash, check, scrip , or money order payments at any time. Select the payment and click Delete.
3 To delete credit card transactions:
· Uncaptured charge. You can delete an uncaptured charge at any time. Select the charge in the Payment list (bottom right side of the Money screen) and then click the Delete button. This also reverses the authorization with your credit card processor, clearing any held funds and restoring them to available credit on the customer's card.
· Captured charge - same day. Captured charges can be deleted in the same way as uncaptured charges, as long as it is done the same day they are captured. This will automatically void them with your credit card processor.
You can also cancel a payment on the History tab in the Payment Maintenance window (Orders > Payments > Payment Maintenance). See Using the Payment History tab.
· Captured charge - subsequent to day of capture. At this point you will have to process a cancellation or return to issue a refund on the credit card.
